Shocking moment stalker who attempted to murder heavily pregnant mum by stabbing her on school run flees with knife

SHOCKING footage has revealed the moment a stalker, who stabbed a heavily pregnant mum on a school run, fled the scene brandishing a knife.
Andreea Pintilli, 29, was knifed in the back at least five times with an eight-inch blade in Aberfan, Wales, on December 5.

Daniel Mihai Popescu, 29, had been in a relationship with Andreea since 2020 but they split three years later after he developed a gambling habit.
After growing "obsessed" with the mum, he bombarded her with phone calls from withheld numbers.
He also filmed the mum-of-two as she sat outside her home and uploaded the creepy footage to TikTok.
Popescu has now been jailed for 17 years and four months after pleading guilty to attempted murder and stalking.
Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court heard the stalker told his housemate how he was going to "stab his ex-girlfriend's new partner".
Andreea had only moved to Aberfan a month before she was attacked by Popescu, who tracked her new address down.
She was dropping her two children off at school when the knifeman lunged at her in the busy street with an eight-inch blade.
One witness said she heard "screams" so ran outside to help Andreea as she lay on the street.

Armed police swooped on a home several hours after the attack and arrested Popescu.
The mum, who was 37 weeks pregnant at the time, was rushed to hospital but thankfully her and her unborn child survived.
In a victim impact statement, she said she felt "lucky to be alive after this harrowing experience".
The mum added: "I have no doubt that, had he got me into the house, he would have killed me. This was clearly his intention that day, to kill me and my unborn child.
"He was very jealous and couldn't handle the fact we'd split up and I had not intention of ever getting back with him. He wasn't going to stop until he killed me."
Her former partner Teodor Balan, 34, described her as a "very good mother" to their two children.
He said: "Thank God she is OK. I was so worried about her.
"She is a very good mother. She is looking after the children very well. It was difficult for her to bring up two children while working part-time.
"She called me in the morning. I'm still friends with her. I helped her move her stuff and helped her paint."
