ALDI has been named the best store to buy wine for the third year running.
The budget supermarket beat rivals including Waitrose to win Multiple Wine Retailer of the Year.
It won 225 awards for its beers, spirits and plonk in 2016, including the International Wine & Spirit Competition's 'Innovator of the Year' title.
Aldi’s latest honour came at the Drinks Retailing Awards.
The German chain this week overtook Co-op to become Britain’s fifth biggest retailer.
Tony Baines, joint managing director of buying at Aldi, said: "We're elated our wine range has been recognised once again by such a respected awarding body.
"To receive this accolade is a testament to the work of our talented buyers and dedicated suppliers who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional quality products at an unbeatable price."
