Mum says telly psychic Uri Geller fixed her son’s Xbox as she watched Loose Women – by telling her to put a SPOON on her TV

Morag Jamieson, 45, followed magician's orders to put a spoon on her TV and held the machine tightly while she was watching the star on Loose Women

AMAZED mum Morag Jamieson held her lad’s Xbox tightly and bellowed ‘work’ three times while watching Uri Geller - before the console whirred into life after months on the blink.

Morag, 45, followed magician Uri’s orders to put a spoon on her TV and held the machine tightly while she was watching Loose Women in her living room last month.

He then and told her to shout work before proclaiming that the gadget would be fixed.

Moments later, she plugged the Xbox into the wall and miraculously saw the green light appear for the first time since last August when it packed in.

Her eight-year-old son James is now delighted to play favourite games Minecraft and The Simpsons again thanks to the mystic powers of Geller.

Single mum Morag, of Inverness, said: “I stood and stared at it.

“I kept looking at the green light to make sure.

“I stared at it for about a minute and thought this can’t be real.

“I kept switching the box on and off - but it’s working, after six months broken. I’m delighted.”

Speaking from his home in Israel, psychic Uri, 70, said: “I am the catalyst and enabler to the powers of the mind of people at home.
“It’s a phenomenon.”

James had been left gutted when the Xbox stopped working six months ago and Morag couldn’t get it going.

Then Uri told Loose Women viewers he’d help them harness mind power to help fix broken clocks and watches.

Morag’s watch was fine but she wanted to try the experiment and hastily grabbed the console.

The art and textiles student had left the second-hand console unplugged on a shelf beside the telly after it stopped working in August.

Geller told viewers to place a spoon on the TV, then hold their broken watches or clocks tightly.

On the count of three, he told them to shout the word ‘work’ and then repeated it another two times.

Morag said: “At the last moment I remembered the Xbox and thought I’d try that.

“He told us to hold it tightly and tell it to work so I did.

“Then I switched it on at the wall and I absolutely could not believe it when it came on. I switched it off and on three times.

“I didn’t tell James about it right away because I didn’t believe it.

“I kept thinking it was just a fluke and it was going to stop.
“But eventually I told him, otherwise there was no point having it fixed. He was delighted and he played it all weekend.”

Last night, Uri said he used to think he was the reason that things began working but he’s now potential.

He said: “When I first did this, I thought it was all about me but I’ve since realised I’m just the trigger for this release of energy.

“When I do this amazing demonstration, lots of people contact me to say things that haven’t worked for ages begin working again.

“I was secretly videoed at UCLA in Los Angeles doing this same trick.

“The video was then showed to a different group of students who also brought their broken watches along.

“Lo and behold, the watches started ticking just by watching me.

“I wasn’t even thinking or concentrating about it because I didn’t know the video was being played.

“I use the spoon because sometimes the spoon bends instead and sometimes the clocks begin to work.”

His antics on the David Dimbleby show stunned viewers and sparked a debate over telepathic abilities.

Uri later claimed to have spied for several groups, including the US government.

And he said he hypnotised pal Michael Jackson to cure a junk food addiction.
