Three schoolboys arrested after students at Dagenham school hospitalised following horror ‘noxious substance’ attack
One of the pupils arrested at east London school was just 12-years-old
THREE schoolboys aged just 12, 13 and 15 have been arrested after a "noxious substance" was thrown, leaving three fellow pupils in hospital.
The three suspects have been arrested on suspicion of GBH after the lunchtime attack at an east London school.
Emergency services were called to Sydney Russell School in Dagenham, just after 2pm on Wednesday, to reports of a "disturbance".
Three victims - two girls and a boy - were taken to hospital.
Two of the three victims have since been discharged from hospital, police said.

The school, rated "outstanding" in Ofsted reports and has 2,000 pupils aged 11-18.
The headteacher of the school, Janis Davies, told the : “At lunchtime three boys were involved in stupid behaviour spraying some harmful liquid around. We aren’t clear what it was exactly."
She continued: “The three boys are not allowed into school until a full investigation has taken place. If the facts are as them seem to be they will not be returning to Sydney Russell.”
Ms Davis said the victims were not expected to suffer long-term effects.
The schoolboys arrested remain in police custody.
All those involved were pupils at the school.
On Sunday three were hospitalised after 'acid attacks' followed an under-16s football match in nearby Barkingside.
