Schoolgirl, 15, is ‘gang raped by six men on Facebook Live’ – but no viewers called the cops

A SCHOOLGIRL was reportedly gang raped by six men on Facebook live - but none of the 40 viewers called police.
The 15-year-old was sexually assaulted by five or six men or boys while they streamed the attack in Chicago, authorities said.
Cops found out about the horror video when the youngster's mum contacted them.
She approached Superintendent Eddie Johnson late Monday afternoon and said her daughter had been missing since Sunday.
The terrified mum then showed the officer screengrabs of the alleged attack.

Facebook has since taken down the video and the girl has been reunited with her family.
She is said to know at least one of her alleged attackers, but it remains unclear how they all knew each other.
No suspects have been established yet and no arrests have been made.
Superintendent Johnson was "visibly upset" by the video - both due to its content and the fact no viewers called police.
It is the second time in recent months Chicago Police Department has investigated a Facebook Live attack.
Four people were arrested in January after mobile phone footage showed them "taunting and beating" a disabled man.
A spokeswoman for Facebook, Andrea Saul, said she had no specific comment on the Chicago incident but that the company takes its "responsibility to keep people safe on Facebook very seriously."
"Crimes like this are hideous and we do not allow that kind of content on Facebook," she said.
Jeffrey Urdangen, a professor at Northwestern University's law school and the director of the school's Center for Criminal Defense, said it isn't illegal to watch such a video or to not report it to the police.
He also said child pornography charges wouldn't apply unless viewers were downloading the video.
