Romanian woman, 29, who fell into the Thames while fleeing Westminster fanatic was holidaying in the capital with her boyfriend to celebrate his birthday

THE woman who jumped into the Thames yesterday to escape a terror attack as a car ploughed into pedestrians on Westminster Bridge was on holiday with her boyfriend.
Andreea Cristea, 29, was pulled from the river alive, after she is thought to have leapt into the water in sheer panic.
The architect, who is still in a serious condition today, jumped out of the path of the car which hit and killed two people.
The driver of the car smashed it into railings outside the Houses of Parliament before running into a courtyard and stabbing a policeman - who later died.
Ms Cristea was on holiday from Romania with boyfriend Andrei Burnaz, to celebrate his birthday tomorrow.
The couple were on the bridge at about 2.40pm when the terrorist waged his manic attack in the London tourist hotspot.
Mr Burnaz suffered a fractured foot during the attack as the pair walked in the direction of the London Eye.

It has not been confirmed if Ms Cristea fell or jumped from the bridge into the river, but it has been suggested the leapt in to escape the terrifying attack.
Paul Ciocoiu, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Romania, told Digi 24 TV: "According to information we have, she would be the pedestrian hit by a car and thrown into the Thames and then recovered. Ministry contacted the family.
"We do not know when the family arrived in Britain. If the family require consular assistance, of course, the ministry provides help punctually.
"There is a crisis cell set up immediately after the conclusion of the terrorist attack. There are the usual procedures, to keep in touch with British authorities, hospital authorities and family seriously injured citizen."
Cops have now arrested eight people following the atrocity, which is being treated as a terror attack.
Last night they raided six addresses in the UK as part of the ongoing investigation.
