KILLER'S FAMILY FEUD

London terror attacker’s daughter ‘converted to Islam, changed her name and wears a burka’ sparking bitter battle with ex-partner who dumped him

Businesswoman Jane Harvey dumped Khalid Masood after he was jailed for GBH

THE bitter secrets of terror attacker Khalid Masood’s tangled love-life emerged last night.

The crazed jihadi, 52, left behind a trail of broken relationships before launching the carnage that claimed four innocent lives.

He caused fury from the mother of his first daughter after getting the youngster to convert to Islam, which saw her covered from head to toe in a burka.

Yesterday, police were still trying to understand the warped motive that sparked Wednesday’s massacre in Westminster.

But as their investigation continues, The Sun can today reveal details of Masood’s troubled family past.

It involves two lovers, one wife and at least three children — with the Muslim convert’s new faith at the centre of it all.

Masood, who was born Adrian Elms, met his first partner Jane Harvey while working together at Aaron Chemicals in Bodiam, East Sussex, in the late 1980s.

Then a swaggering salesman in his 20s, and calling himself “Ade”, he quickly won over his younger colleague during drinks at the lively Roebuck pub in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

The pair quickly became an item, with Jane, four years “Ade’s” junior, moving in with her new man.

As their careers blossomed, the couple moved to the sleepy village of Northiam, near Rye in East Sussex, and started a family.

In 1992, they celebrated the arrival of their first daughter, Andi Jay, before Teegan Adrienne followed six years later.

Masood already had a minor conviction for criminal damage, dating back to 1983, and pals have since told of his violent temper.

Yesterday, one friend recalled how Jane, now 48, had put up with her partner’s rages, which often ended up with cops being called.

The pal said: “It was a very nasty time and the police spoke to Adrian on many occasions.

“I think the mother was very glad to get out of the relationship.

“When she did, we were all very happy for her.”

A close pal said: "I know Jane was very upset and wanted her to stay at home and continue her studies"

The final straw for Jane, who is still managing director at the same chemicals firm, came in 2000 after more than nine years together.

Masood’s temper boiled over during a spat at his local pub in July that year with cafe owner Piers Mott.

Masood, then 35, flew into a fury after an argument with “racial overtones” and slashed Mott’s face with a knife.

The wound left Mott needing 20 stitches and Masood was later jailed for two years.

In a CV obtained by The Sun yesterday, Masood claimed to still be working for Bodiam at the time.

In fact, he was in prison — and Jane had decided enough was enough.

The pair split and Masood moved 30 miles west to Eastbourne in 2003.

But he was soon in trouble again, charged with attempted murder after a street brawl the same year.

'WIFE' 2: Strong beliefs ‘and a dislike of America’

AFTER the failure of his first marriage, Khalid Masood quickly moved on and by September 2004 he had wed  marketing assistant Farzana Malik at a register office in Medway, Kent.
Little is known about their marriage or how it ended. But according to Masood’s CV, he had by now qualified as an English-language teacher.
In November 2005 he lived in  Saudi Arabia for  four years. Whether Farzana, now 38, joined him is unclear.
Masood, by now using his Muslim name, returned in 2009 and moved to Luton, Beds.
There is no evidence he lived there with Farzana, who by 2011 had a second husband, Muhammad Isaq, and lived in Oldham, Lancs.
Her Facebook page reveals strong Muslim beliefs and a dislike of America and its foreign policy.
On November 9, 2014, she posted a photo which described US soldiers as “pawns in a game of organised murder”.
She added: “America invents enemies, then sends in its soldiers to die fighting them.”
There is no suggestion she holds any extremist views or that she supported her former husband’s radical beliefs.
A relative of 38-year-old Farzana Isaq said she was “terrified” of her “psychopath” husband.
She said: “He was very violent towards her, controlling in every aspect of her life – what she wore, where she went, everything.
He was a psychopath. He came from a nice family, had everything, but there was something very wrong with him.
He was knocking around with a crew of not very nice people.” It is claimed that after one violent confrontation Farzana fled their home with a suitcase  and ran to pals in Middlesbrough.
The relative said: “She was terrified, he was dangerous. She got out with a suitcase, just her clothes..”

It was then, while on remand and facing trial, that Masood is believed to have been radicalised. His conversion would later cause a bitter row with Jane, who is said to be “not at all” religious, over the direction of their daughters’ lives.

Friends recalled seeing Andi, now 24, following her conversion to Islam aged 18.

One said: “She was covered head to toe and said she never went out of the house unless she was covered up.

“Jane was very upset when she converted but she was over 18 and there was not much she could do about it.”

And yesterday a friend told how Jane and Masood had waged war over his bid to convert Teegan to Islam two years ago.

The pal said: “The elder daughter had already converted to Islam and was living in Birmingham.

“She wore a full face veil and I think had changed her name.

“It was her father who had helped convert her.

“Her father wanted the younger daughter to convert but her mother was against it and there was quite a family struggle.

I know the mother was very upset and wanted her to stay at home where she could continue her studies.”

There is no suggestion Jane or her daughters had any extremist beliefs or were aware of Masood’s terror plot.

In fact, Masood’s ties to Jane were all but cut following his release from prison in 2003.

'WIFE' 3: Cops searched home hours after attack

THE terrorist’s third partner, Rohey Hydara, is believed to have shacked up with him seven years ago.
Electoral roll records show them living together in Luton  from 2010  before the couple  moved to Birmingham.
And he had recently  been seen with her at another address in the former 2012 Olympic village  in Stratford, East London, where her wheelchair-bound mother lives.
Neighbours reported seeing the couple with a young baby, while others said they saw a boy and girl aged between eight and ten at the address.
One resident, Vera Amade, 21, said: “I can’t remember seeing her for the last two weeks. That’s roughly the last time I saw him.
“I would see him sometimes in a suit walking out of the building. There wasn’t anything strange or suspicious about her. I can’t believe he did the attack. It’s horrible to think someone could do something like that.”
Just hours after Wednesday’s attacks cops, moved in to search the address.
It is not known if Hydara, 39 and thought to be originally from The Gambia, was one of those arrested in raids.
She has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Six others were released with no further action

After being cleared by a jury of attempted murder and GBH, but convicted of possession of a knife, he wasted little time moving on.

It was only a year later, in 2004 that Masood married marketing assistant Farzana Malik, in Medway, Kent.

It was during this time he qualified as an English language teacher and moved to Saudi Arabia.

After his relationship with Farzana failed, by 2010 Masood had hooked up with a third partner, Rohey Hydara, in Luton, Beds.

It may not be coincidence it is a town with a history of Islamic extremism, playing host to hate preacher Anjem Choudary and a series of radical plots.
