Former Met chief Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe has apologised for how the case was handled but Mr Proctor said: “None of this can undo the damage the police and Nick have done.”
He told The Sun: “I regret the need to have to resort to the law but I need to be put back to the position I was in before the Met police raided my home in March 2015 and before I lost my job and my home.
“None of this action be possible undo the damage that the police and Nick have done to me.
“But I do not see why I should be in any worse state than I was before all this nonsense descended upon me.”
