F-16 fighter jet crashes by houses near Joint Base Andrews near Washington and bursts into flames – but pilot miraculously survives
Officials are investigating reports the plane hit a house after the pilot was ejected from the cockpit

A FIGHTER jet has crashed near houses moments after its brave pilot was ejected safely from the cockpit, it has been reported.
A Prince George's County fire department spokesman told WRC-TV that one pilot parachuted out of the aircraft and was picked up by a military helicopter.
He said the pilot was found in the same general area as the plane and his injuries are not life-threatening.
Brady added that homes in the area were being evacuated and there were no other reports of injuries.
He didn't know whether anything on the ground was hit in the crash, which occurred just miles from Joint Base Andrews.
Reporter Luis Martinez, from ABC News, reported the F-16 pilot was from DC Air National Guard's 113th Fighter Wing.
