Woman savaged by TWO ‘XL Bullies’ in attack on quiet street just a day after teen, 19, killed ‘by danger dog breed’

A WOMAN was savaged by two "XL Bullies" just one day after a teenager was killed in a separate attack.
She was mauled by the pair of canines, believed to be an XL Bully and an XL Bully-cross, in Cannock, Staffordshire, on Thursday afternoon.
Police rushed to the scene shortly before 1pm and the dogs were seized. No one has been arrested.
The woman was raced to hospital for her injuries, which are being treated as serious.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are investigating after a woman received a serious injury after being bitten by two dogs in Cannock.
"We were called at 12.50pm this afternoon (Thursday 27 February) to Allport Road to reports that a woman had been attacked by two dogs – believed to be an XL Bully and an XL Bully cross – near to the Citizens Advice Bureau.

"The woman has been taken to hospital. No-one has been arrested.
"The dogs’ owner has agreed for the dogs to be seized as we investigate."

The attack comes just one day after a teenager was mauled to death in a separate incident, by a dog also feared to be an XL Bully.
The 19-year-old woman was attacked by the hound in a Bristol flat on Wednesday evening.
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, have been arrested following the ferocious attack.
Police were called at 7.19pm after the woman was brutally attacked in a flat in Cobhorn Drive, south Bristol.
A horrified neighbour witnessed the dog owner leaving her flat covered in blood who then sat in the street and started crying for "hours."
Despite efforts to save her the young woman tragically died due to her injuries, and the dog was destroyed.
