Families of soldiers killed by IRA’s 1982 Hyde Park bomb call on PM Theresa May to support campaign to bring bomber to justice
Bereaved relatives are raising cash to bring a civil prosecution against the chief suspect John Downey

FAMILIES of soldiers killed by the IRA’s 1982 Hyde Park nail bomb yesterday called on Prime Minister Theresa May to back their campaign for justice.
The relatives, who laid wreaths at Westminster in memory of the victims of last month’s terror attack, are raising cash to bring a civil prosecution against chief suspect John Downey.
Lord Tebbit joined politicians from all parties in offering their support to the campaign.
And Mark Tipper, whose brother Simon was killed in the attack, said: “We’re asking for the Prime Minister to step in. We hope she will succeed where her predecessors failed.”
