Man who grabbed girl, 5, and tried to abduct her from Asda supermarket is on the run
A MAN who tried to abduct a five-year-old girl from Asda is now one of UK's most wanted fugitives.
Tadas Kuslevicius, 32, was sentenced to 10 weeks behind bars in 2021 after taking the girl from the supermarket in Queensferry, Wales.
The youngster had been with her mum and grandmother at the store, while Kuslevicius went inside to buy a box of beer, reported.
He came across the family as he left the supermarket, before gesturing to the child and holding her hand.
But despite being sentenced to 10 weeks, Kuslevicius was released as he had already served that time behind bars.
At the time, a court heard the girls mum felt "vulnerable", prosecuting lawyer Simon Parry said.

Myles Wilson, defending Kuslevicius, said: ”He accepts he would have caused fright and upset. He had no intention of taking her away from the store.”
Mr Wilson said Kuslevicius had made a "foolish mistake".
Judge Niclas Parry said: ”I sentence you on the basis that you caused this young child, for whatever reason, to be moved away from her mother and grandmother for a matter of seconds.
"Whether you thought that was playful, because you were drunk, I don’t know. But I have no cause to believe you intended to cause any harm.

“You now know, having spent the equivalent of ten weeks in custody, that this is serious because of the distress and alarm you would have caused.”
Kuslevicius is now listed as one of the UK's most wanted criminals after failing to comply with post custody supervision requirements.
He disappeared and police believe he could be in the Deeside area of North Wales or Ellesmere Port as he has links to the area.
Officers describe Kuslevicius at standing at around six feet tall, of medium build, has brown hair and brown eyes.
A warrant for his arrest was put out in 2022.
As of 2025 Kuslevicius is listed on the Crimestoppers wanted list.
A Crimestoppers spokesman said: "Tadas Kuslevicius failed to comply with post custody supervision requirements and remains outstanding with a warrant issued for his arrest. Kuslevicius has links to the Deeside area of North Wales and Ellesmere Port.
"Information in relation to his current whereabouts is sought."
