POLICE are probing the "unexplained" death of a 14-year-old girl who suddenly died at home.

The teenager was tragically found dead on Monday evening in Hartlepool, County Durham.

A 55-year-old man and a 44-year-old have both been arrested, and remain on bail while cops investigate.

Cleveland Police say the teenager's death is being treated as "unexplained."

They said: "Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a 14-year-old girl in Hartlepool on the evening of Monday 5 May. 

"The girl sadly passed away at home and her death is being treated as unexplained.
