A KIDNAPPER thrown back in jail within months of his early release is bragging from behind bars about how he became the face of Labour’s scheme.

Daniel Dowling-Brooks, 30, provoked outrage when he was pictured being picked up in a £150,000 Bentley last year, telling reporters: “Big up Keir Starmer.”

Prison authorities are now investigating how the crook — given 14 years for holding a teen drug dealer at gunpoint during a 12-hour ordeal in 2017 — has been able to post a series of rap videos online since his jail recall earlier this year.

In one, he raps: “G Wagon and a Bentley I be up in the ’papers. Two thumbs up to the haters.”

A Prison Service spokesperson said:"We have launched an investigation into these videos and have requested their removal.

“Any prisoner found with contraband, such as a mobile phone or recording equipment, is breaking the law and could face extra time in prison.”

Former Met Police detective chief inspector Mick Neville told The Sun: “He should rap ‘Two Tier Kier puts the public in fear’.

“It is already a sick joke that a sentence for two crimes that carry a maximum of life imprisonment resulted in just a 14 year sentence.

“Little wonder they are rapping about Starmer.

“This just puts the public at risk of violent men who should be locked up.”

Ex-Wiltshire detective Mike Rees added: “Where’s the deterrent?”
