Drunken Brits in ridiculous fancy dress stumble out of bars in Magaluf as summer party season kicks off
The party town on the island of Majorca sees thousands of revellers fly from the UK to spend a week downing drinks and letting their hair down

PARTY season has kicked off in Magaluf as boozed-up Brits in fancy dress descend on the Spanish holiday resort for a summer of fun.
The party town on the island of Majorca sees thousands of raucous revellers fly from the UK to spend a week downing drinks and letting their hair down.
Hundreds of people were pictured this weekend stumbling out of bars and clubs along the main strip of the town in all manner of ridiculous costumes.
Drunken Brits wearing cheerleader outfits, cross-dressing and clad in Union Jacks wandered the streets as they soaked up the party atmosphere.
Earlier this year it was warned party-goers heading to the Spanish resort could face fines for bizarre offences like climbing trees and playing football.
Local councillors listed 109 infringements that would result in 100 euro on-the-spot fines.
Cops in the town will be patrolling the wild resort’s beaches on Segways this summer to help combat its sex on the sands reputation.
Tourism bosses announced the new move earlier this month as part of their long-running plan to clean up the party spot’s x-rated image.
Segways and quad bikes will scour the stretch of sand between Magaluf and Palmanova – just yards from the bars frequented by tens of thousands of partying Brits.

There will also be a new community police force with a sole responsibility for 24-hour beach security.
The infamous strip of bars and clubs in the Spanish resort is popular with thousands of young people looking for a week of fun – but the holiday often ends in disaster for many as they indulge in alcohol, as we reported last year.
Photos from one night in the summer of 2016 saw youngsters in fancy dress drinking in the streets, vomiting on the pavements and barely clothed as they party.
One man is pictured with blood smeared all over his face after a bust-up, while elsewhere people are so drunk they have collapsed on the pavement and against walls while their pals stagger about nearby.
