Magaluf hotels club together to set up BLACKLIST in bid to ban drunk Brit tourists from ALL the town’s resorts
Resorts on the island of Majorca are joining forces in a bid to curb their infamous reputation as a boozy, binge drinking holiday spot
HOTELS in Magaluf are drawing up a blacklist of guests who are being BANNED from staying in Majorca because of rowdy behaviour.
The move is part of their campaign to hit back at "anything goes" drunken tourism for which the island has become infamous.
Unruly guests are being chucked out of hotels and then put on the blacklist which is shared via a database, together with the reason for their expulsion. Other hotels will then not accept them.
Hoteliers say they are ready to tackle the problem of "tourism excesses" head on and will no longer tolerate the situation.
It is understood to be the first time hotel owners have gone this far and affects all potential troublespots in Majorca but especially Magaluf and Platja de Palma.
Each list is headed "Notice expelling unlawful clients". It includes their names, passport details and nationality.
To make sure the information is spread as quickly as possible, emails will also be sent out between hotels.
Island newspapers say one of the lists reports nine guests who were ejected because of alleged damage to their rooms and for throwing a bed off the balcony.

They were all Dutch and were expelled even though they had paid for their rooms and still had four days to go of their holiday.
Tourism chiefs say the troublemakers are NOT always British but of various nationalities, including Germans.
Two German visitors were also added to the blacklist for also throwing furniture around and another seven, also from Germany, for vandalism.
It is also alleged that five holidaymakers were ordered to leave because of some alleged sexual aggression on the beach.
The new Mayor of Palma, Antoni Noguera has already pledged to ask Germany, through its consul on the island, not to send troublesome holidaymakers to the island.
He said they were giving a very bad image to German tourism as the tourists who came for a normal holiday were being put in the same bag as the drunks.
In one recent incident, a group of five German tourists, aged between 20 and 28, were arrested for causing around 5,000 euros worth of damage to a hotel's lift.
The group got stuck in it and had to be released by service engineers who found the roof had been prized open and drinks were littered around the interior.
