Britain has been dropped from all new EU merchandise on sale in Brussels gift shops — even though Brexit has yet to happen
The British flag has been replaced by the EU flag on t-shirts, hoodies and ties which are sold at the tourist hot-spot

BRITAIN has been wiped from EU merchandise being sold in Brussels even though Brexit hasn’t happened.
Fancy t-shirts, hoodies and ties sold close to the European Parliament no longer show any reference to the UK.
Designs found by The Sun show that the Union Jack has been replaced by the EU flag - as vendors try and erase Britain’s involvement in the EU.
England mugs, proudly showing the St George’s Cross, have also been relegated to the bargain basement shelf in an official EU parliament gift shop.
One hoodie, which sells for £33, had the British flag alongside the 27 flags of other member states in its old style.
But new products hanging on the shop fronts in the old town of the city show the EU flag in its place.
The slogan “Brussels The capital of Europe” remains in English on both the hoodie and t-shirt designs.
Posh ties - which sell for £23 - used to have the Union Jack at the centre of a print design.
Now they’ve also been replaced by the yellow starred symbol of Europe.
A member of staff at the Euro House store, which was bustling with tourists, said they had just got in the new stock.
She said: “It’s all new, and the UK is gone because they aren’t part of Europe now.
“We get a lot of people coming and asking if we have the old versions, with Britain in it.

“They think they will be collectors’ items and maybe worth something in the future.
“It was very easy to change the design – we just changed the UK flag for the one of the EU.
“Soon all of the products will be like this.”
The England mug was half price in the gift shop of the ‘Parlamentarium’ - the museum inside the European Parliament - down from 8.90 EURO to 4.45 EURO.
Promotion Europe – the Belgian company which prints the merchandise – did not respond to a request to comment.
