Cops searching for missing pensioner find ‘her remains’ INSIDE huge 14ft saltwater crocodile
The estuarine crocodile, which is believed to be the one involved in the death of 79-year-old Anne Cameron, was examined by a specialist in Port Douglas, Australia

THE grisly remains of a woman who disappeared after wandering out of a care home have been found INSIDE the stomach of a crocodile.
Tragic dementia sufferer Anne Cameron’s walking stick was discovered in dense Australian bush where the killer reptiles are known to lurk sparking a massive croc hunt.
Wildlife experts baited traps with pig carcasses to lure a 14-foot beast believed to have preyed on the 79-year-old pensioner at Craiglie Creek, south of Port Douglas.
The animal was trapped and killed near the Mowbray River and remains presumed to be those of Ms Cameron’s were then found inside it.
Queensland Environment Minister Steven Miles said the animal’s size and behaviour had led experts to suspect it was a "maneater".
Mr Miles said: “The staff are experts in crocodile behaviour, biology and ecology and have done a tremendous job in identifying and removing the target animal.
“It has been a very difficult and harrowing week for all involved, and my thoughts are with the family of Anne Cameron at this sad time.”
Ms Cameron’s death sparked renewed calls for the culling of of crocodiles following two other grisly deaths this year.
Saltwater crocodile numbers have rocketed since they were made a protected species in the 1970s and they now kill an average of two people a year.
But Ms Cameron's family said they did not want to see any of the animals punished following the tragedy.
Her son Craig Eggins said: "The crocodiles are not responsible for being crocodiles, and doing what crocodiles do."
The care home confirmed Mrs Cameron had not been in a secure unit and was free to go walking by herself and Mr Eggins added that his family did not blame staff.
He said: "My mother was a spirited, strong-minded and strong-willed woman who would have found a way to take her walk if she were denied it, and to hell with anyone who tried to stop her."
A report was being prepared for the coroner yesterday.
