Melbourne Cup carnage sees boozed-up Aussies go wild as they throw up, collapse and get rescued by paramedics
Stakes Day meant the racecourse was filled with booze-drinking revellers

THE Melbourne Cup Carnival was hit by a barrage of boozed-up Aussies going wild - with paramedics having to rush to their aid.
Traditionally, the annual sporting event has been a family friendly occasion but the actions of some meant the event was anything but.
The carnival is one of the country's most popular horse-racing events and revellers flocked from all over to see some of the action.
Shocking pictures show one young woman throwing up in the gutter in the middle of the day, and another being carted out of the festival by paramedics after the revellery got out of control.
With her head slumped, it looked like the girl needed medical assistance following a day of heavy drinking.
Many girls ditched their heels and simply staggered bare foot throughout the racecourse ground.
Others knock back booze in the hot weather whilst some just collapse on the grass to take a break.
And whilst some respectfully observed a minute's silence to mark Remembrance Day, others chose to continue the partying watching the Emirates Stakes racing highlight.
As the day came to an end, the once pristine race-course was covered in litter, with drunken Aussies making their way through the mess.
It's certainly not the first time the Flemington racecourse has been hit by wild Aussies on the loose.
In the last week the actions of some drunken carnival-goers have seen three people kicked out for bad behaviour and two arrested for drunkenness.
Embattled security guards were forced to remove another four intoxicated guests from the grounds.
Anti-racing protesters clashed with armed officers and spectators, with cops hauling one woman away for assaulting a protester just outside the ground.
And earlier in the week, a woman was photographed urinating in a BUSH whilst her shoeless pal looked on as the wild debauchery continued.
