A video clip shows a woman launching a tirade of racist abuse against a cashier

"You won't think it's funny then, yeah. You won't be laughing then you ignorant f***s***," she screams in the Camden High Street branch.

As customers look on in shocked silence, the woman begins to walk away but then turns to shout: "Who would want to look at you? What woman would want to look at that?" while gesturing at the man.

The unsettling video shows the angry woman, who appears to be in her 30s, turn to leave the store for a second time.

But she spins back round, shouting: "Make sure you post my cards, otherwise I'll come back and get a refund you fat p*** c****!' she bellows.

The racist customer tells the cashier to 'go back to your own country' before a row of shocked customers

"Go back to your own country, yeah, you're not wanted here. You fat motherf***** p***!' she yells. 'Ugly motherf*****!'

Samrat Hanif, who filmed the abuse from the queue and posted it on Facebook, said the staff at the branch are friendly and he didn't notice any disagreement before the woman's outburst.

"All of a sudden I heard she is screaming and immediately I started recording," said Mr Hanif, said he did not speak up for the employee out of fear that the woman might direct her attack at him.

As the woman finally leaves the branch, another customer is heard saying: "Wow" in a loud sigh of relief.

Staff at Camden High Street Post Office said they were unable to comment.
A Post Office spokeswoman said: "We are extremely proud of the people who work in our 11,600 branches across the UK.

"They do a great job providing a wide range of vital services to the millions of customers who visit each week.

"We expect all of our people to be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve and are very concerned by this incident.

"We are investigating and of course offering our full support to the team at the branch involved."

Met Police are not investigating.
