Lucky Brit winner claims £77m after scooping half of £154m EuroMillions jackpot

A LUCKY Brit has scooped a whopping £77million after splitting the EuroMillions jackpot last night.

They shared the £154million prize with a winner in Spain from the second biggest prize pot in the history of the draw.

The lucky ticket holder today claimed the "life-changing" amount after matching the numbers 10, 17, 18, 28, 47, and Lucky Stars 3 and 7.

The jackpot has been building since the start of the year and was at its highest since October 2017.

  • The numbers drawn on February 23 were 10, 17, 18, 28, 47
  • Lucky Stars were 3 and 7
  • The last big EuroMillions winner scooped £25.5million in November
  • The largest EuroMillions jackpot was won by Brits Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who scooped €190million on 12th August 2012
  • This was trumped by fellow Brits Chris and Colin Weir, who won £161million in 2011 due to the favourable exchange rate
  • Tens of milllions goes unclaimed each year due to lost tickets

The largest EuroMillions jackpot win ever was scooped by Brits Adrian and Gillian Bayford in August 2012, when they won an incredible €190m.
