Female assistant head teacher, 43, ‘had sex with pupil at school and told his mum she loved him’
The mum-of-three is now facing charges for sexual battery

AN ASSISTANT head teacher has admitted she had sex with a pupil twice on school grounds - and told his mum that she loved him, cops said.
Mum-of-three Dawn Diimler faces felony charges of sexual battery after she was accused of sleeping with a student who she "directly supervised" at Airport High School in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Letters released by Lexington School District Two also claim Diimler was heard on a recording telling the student's mother that she was in love with her son, reports.
The 43-year-old was fired from the secondary school earlier this month could get five years in prison for each charge if convicted.
The student in question graduated last year, following the illicit three-month alleged relationship.
School spokeswoman Dawn Kujawa said: "Ms. Diimmler was terminated following the district’s investigation into allegations that she might be involved in an unprofessional relationship with a student.
"During that investigation, the district became aware of facts indicating the possibility of criminal activity."
Though the student was 19 at the time of the alleged relations, Diimler still faces charges based on her position of power over the student under South Carolina law.
Diimler is also reported to have had sex with the student in a hotel room she rented in April last year, according to an incident report by Columbia Police.
The accused, who is currently married and has three children aged seven, nine and 11, turned herself in on Saturday to face the charges.
The school's head teacher, Brad Coleman, has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Cayce Department of Public Safety issued a statement on Saturday confirming that Diimler "will faces charges of sexual battery" in the jurisdictions of both Columbia and Cayce.
