Mum horrified after finding one of the world’s deadliest snakes inside her kid’s LUNCH BOX
The terrified parent was making a packed lunch when she spotted the killer beast

A MUM was left horrified after finding one of the world's deadliest snakes inside her kid’s lunch box.
The parent from Adelaide in South Australia had already packed the box with an apple and several snacks when she spotted a baby eastern brown snake curled up in the lid.
The shocked parent then sent Snake Catchers Adelaide a picture of the sneaky intruder.
"A hatchling brown snake found a hide out in a child’s lunch box!" she wrote in a Facebook post.
"Not really what you expect to see when you check if you’re child ate their fruit."
Adelaide snake catcher Rolly Burrell told that the snakes loved getting into "closed places so they feel secure" - and that babies were just as lethal as their parents.
"When she opened up the lid she didn't even see it," he explained.
"She was halfway through putting the lunch in and then she saw it and shut the lid down and gave us a call."
Mr Burrell said it was normal for baby brown snakes to hatch at this time of year, but that they'd received around 50 to 60 calls a day - an unusually high number.
After collecting potentially harmful snakes, the catchers then release them "quite a way away".
