Glushkov was found dead at his New Malden home on Monday. He was said to have "strangulation marks" on his neck.

He was wanted regarding a High Court battle against him involving Aeroflot, the company he once ran and from which he was accused of embezzling £87million, reported.

It comes as it emerged his daughter Natalia Glushkova, in her late 30s, is in hiding after finding his body with “strangulation marks”.

Police in protective suits were seen carrying pitchforks and shovels inside a tented cordon around the £400,000 terraced home in New Malden, Surrey.

Neighbours said officers asked whether they had heard a commotion or Glushkov’s dog barking on Monday when the 68-year-old died.

A source told pro-Putin Moscow paper Kommersant that Glushkov had “no guard, no servants”.

The informant added: “Allegedly, his daughter who came to visit discovered traces of strangulation on her father’s body.

“But it could not be explained whether it was outwardly similar to suicide, premeditated murder or an accident.”

Natalia — who has an older brother, Dmitry — graduated from Moscow State University specialising in Mass Communication, Advertising and PR.

The shop, now closed, offered “an exclusive destination for diverse luxury brands” and “top quality male accessories and bespoke services.”

A Glushkov family friend insisted his death was from natural causes and blasted web rumours about his sexuality.

The pal said: “I know that his wife Lyudmila and son live in Moscow, and a daughter lived in London but Nikolai was sick, he had blood disease.

“And even in Moscow he was already registered as 1 group of disability — the most serious.
