Farmer mocks snowflake ‘townies’ complaining about his ‘noisy and smelly’ animals with hilarious warning sign

Stephen Nolan, 48, became so fed up with his neighbours complaining about his farm that he put the warning at the end of his drive telling his sensitive neighbours a few home truths

A FARMER has put up a sign mocking townies who moan about the noise and smell of his hens, pigs and geese.

Stephen Nolan, 48, got fed up after four years of complaints.

His sign says: “This property is a farm. Farms have animals and animals make funny sounds, smell bad and have sex outdoors.

“Unless you can tolerate the above, don’t buy a property next to a farm.”

Social media users called the notice aimed at snowflakes “brilliant” and “hilarious”.

Dad-of-two Stephen keeps ten Shire and Clydesdale horses, four pigs, geese and hens at Laneside Farm, Lancs. Wife Anne restores VW camper vans there.

The pigs are his dad’s pets.

Locals have also stopped Stephen building 16sq ft stables which the horses need due to their size.

He added: “We are trying to do our best for endangered horses.

“We applied for planning permission for the stables.

“But a neighbour has threatened to take the council to the High Court.
