Crabby fisherman trolled seaside cafe owners online for their ‘London ways’

A CRAB fisherman has been convicted of harassing owners of a seaside cafe for “bringing their London ways to Norfolk”.

David Chambers, 71, posted a spiteful online fake review, accusing them of serving him a dog hair sandwich.

David Chambers accused the cafe owners of being 'rude' and blasted 'their London ways' in a fake online review but was later given a conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £624 costs

He also placed negative comments on the café’s Facebook page, saying the owners were “rude” and blasted “their London ways”.
The trolling baffled owners Martin Hipkin, 50, who has lived in Norfolk since 1984, and mum-of-two Louise O’Shea, 50, who moved from Ruislip, Middlesex, in 1986.

The feud erupted after the pair put out cones to stop people driving onto the seafront.

But Chambers mistook this as an effort to restrict fishing access by the Seaview Café in West Runton, near Cromer.

The dispute boiled over last October during a row between the two men.

Chambers was arrested and assaulted a policewoman.

When quizzed on his trolling, he said: “It said on the page would you like to leave your opinion, that’s what I did.”

Chambers, who was previously convicted of threatening behaviour to Mr Hipkin, was found guilty of harassment and assaulting a cop.
Norwich JPs gave him a conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £624 costs.
