Woman charged after man left fighting for his life following East London ammonia attack

A WOMAN has been charged over a suspected acid attack after a man was left fighting for his life in hospital.

Makayla Hajaig, 19, is alleged to have thrown ammonia in the face of her victim during a robbery in Ilford, East London.

The teenager, from Chadwell Heath, North London,  has been charged with robbery, GBH with intent and ABH.

She will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Cops are also hunting William Deo, 20, and Gavin Okwu-Brewis, 29, in connection to the attack last Wednesday night.

The public have been warned not to approach the pair.

The victim, in his 20s, is in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
