Police finally nick burglary suspect they failed to pursue — despite having his name, address AND photo
We revealed yesterday how an anti-theft app on Izabela Siergiej’s stolen phone took secret snaps of the man when he tried to unlock it

POLICE finally nicked a burglary suspect they initially failed to pursue — despite having his name, address and photo.
The mum of two was also sent a location which she visited — and got his name and exact address from neighbours.
She then told cops who refused to investigate — saying the GPS location was too large an area.
However, police yesterday arrested a 54-year-old man hours after our story. Izabela, 38, was also reunited with her £350 Samsung S8 phone and £500 Lenovo laptop.
The IT student from Birmingham said: “I’m so grateful to The Sun who were brilliant for helping me get my property back.
“I only ever wanted the police to do their job. It is really sad they don’t even want to bother. I have absolutely no faith in them anymore.
“They should have acted straight-away, they kept telling me they were stopping knife incidents throughout the weekend, I don't believe there are so many incidents and so few police officers that they can't deal with more than one incident at a time.
“When I looked at the Lockwatch security app it told me he was at home and had tried to unblock my phone 20 minutes ago - it had also taken pictures of his face. I even went to where he lived and found out from people what his name was and his room number, I knocked on his door but he was not in - I told the police but still was they didn't do anything.”
West Midlands Police said a 54-year-old from Aston was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a controlled drug.
