THE fastest, tallest, biggest, smallest... for more than 60 years the planet’s most sensational superlatives have been listed annually in the Guinness World Records book – alongside a sprinkling of somewhat odder entries.

The newly-minted 2019 edition includes acrobatic grannies, jet-propelled go-kart racers and dice-balancing cats.
