Malcolm Cuthbert, 63, and Jacquie Parsons, 56, had been together for 31 years

THE grieving partner of a woman who "froze to death" in a graveyard has revealed he visits the cemetery where she passed away every morning as a touching tribute.

Jacquie Parsons, 56, died of suspected hypothermia after she fell off her bike and injured her ankle at a cemetery in Hull on Saturday October 27.

Every day for ten days after, her partner Malcolm Cuthbert, 63, sat at the spot her body was discovered and poured his heart out.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "I miss Jacquie terribly and the mornings are the worst for some reason but it gives me some comfort to be with her in the last place where she was alive.

"I’m absolutely distraught and I’m trying to rebuild my life which is horrendous."

Financial adviser Malcolm and Jacquie met in 1987 and had been together ever since.

Malcolm, who did not have any children with Jacquie, added: "I can’t express how much I am missing her and will continue to do so.

"She was one of those people that was a joy to be around and she was a joy to have in my life."

Jacquie, who was a purchase ledger clerk and born in Richmond, south-west London, adored her two chihuahuas whom she referred to as "her babies".

Her heartbroken partner added: "She was just a happy person who had a good smile and life was going well for her. You get highs and lows in life and at this period she was in a good place.

"She was a very private person who liked her own home.

"She would go out into the world and then come home and feel secure."

It's thought Jacquie had a cycling accident in heavy rain on Saturday October 27.

She had no mobile phone to call for help or the emergency services.

Her body was found in Western Cemetery in Hull the next day.
