THIS is the heartstopping moment an enormous chunk of cliff collapses onto a beach below without warning.
Footage shows a gigantic fragment of Lynton's cliff face suddenly plunge loudly onto the sand.
Deborah Smith was out walking when the drama unfolded near Bude, Cornwall at 4pm on Monday.
She said: "I've never walked that particular area before and I was just wandering along taking pictures of the sunset, like you do.
"I saw some little chunks of the cliff fall off and roll down so I started to video it.
"Then the massive bit just collapsed, it was so scary - I legged it away.
"It made a hell of a noise too - very loud."
At the end of the video, Deborah can be heard shouting: "I'm getting out of here!"
It is unclear if the beach has been cordoned off to walkers.
