A MUM who filmed herself accusing another mum's toddler of being fat has sparked outrage for her comments.

The unnamed 22-year-old can be heard sneering and insulting the two-year-old Aubrey at a nursery in Philadelphia, USA, on Tuesday.

She said: "If you don't get out of my face, with your big a**, what they need to do is stop feeding you."

The woman posted the clip on Instagram before claiming she did so accidentally and meant to send the video slur privately to a friend.

But that excuse and the subsequent apology did not fly with Aubrey's aunt Jennifer Ortiz, who attacked the "hurtful" comment.

Ortiz, speaking to on behalf of Aubrey's mother, said: "It's just horrible, how could you speak to someone's kids like that?

"It's very shocking, and in front of other kids it hurt, it hurt a lot."

Ortiz says Aubrey's family were so shaken by the bullying behaviour that they have decided to find another nursery for the toddler.

The woman who filmed the clip made a grovelling apology on , but refused to be interviewed.

She said: "It was nothing to hurt anyone or like anything bad towards the little girl.

"I really would like to apologise to her mother more because I am a mother, at the end of the day, and I couldn't imagine anyone doing this to my son.

"I am 22, you make dumb mistakes and I regret it. I regret it, I really do."

She added that she has tried to contact Aubrey's mum to apologise and revealed she has been told her son is no longer welcome at the nursery.

The daycare centre, Amazing Kidz, also hit out at the "mean and senseless" post.

A statement issued by them added: "The person who filmed and posted the video did not have our permission to do so.

"The post was not made by any of our staff. An investigation is underway to uncover the facts."
