Royal baby name update – When will Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announce their son’s name?

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have welcomed their first child into this world - and it's a boy!
But when can we expect the baby's named to be announced? Here's everything we know so far.
When will Harry and Meghan's baby's name be announced?
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to announce their baby's name any day now after she gave birth to a boy at 5.26am on May 6.
For William and Kate, babies George and Charlotte were named fairly quickly, breaking tradition with their parents and grandparents, as Prince William’s name was not released for a week and Prince Charles’ for a month.
However, we found out about Prince George on July 24, 2013, two days after he was born and one day after Kate left hospital.
Princess Charlotte was also named two days after she was born, on May 4, 2015.
Louis' name was announced four days after his birth, on Friday, April 27, 2018.
Meghan and Harry's baby may not even be called Royal Highness.
But in December 2012, before Prince William and Kate Middleton had their first born Prince George, the Queen used the Letters Patent so she could give all of their children a HRH title.
How will the name be announced?
Kensington Palace announced the name of Prince Louis in a press release.
They put out a tweet saying: "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.
"The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge."
It is expected that Harry and Meghan's baby's name will be announced in the same way.
When did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their first baby?
Meghan gave birth on May 6 at 5.26am.
Prince Harry told royal well-wishers outside of Windsor the good news.
The Duke of Sussex said: "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy."
"It's been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.
"How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we're both absolutely thrilled.
"We're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there, it's been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody."
Prince Harry said they were still thinking about names but would show off their baby to the world in two days' time.
The Duke of Sussex, who was present for the birth, added: "I'm so incredibly proud of my wife.
"And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing.
"But this little thing is absolutely to-die-for so I'm absolutely over the moon."
