Saunders, of Chigwell, Essex, got eight months’ jail after admitting GBH at Southwark crown court.

The court heard Mr Gudgeon asked Saunders “what his problem was,” adding : “You have had too much to drink, silly boy.”

Saunders later approached Mr Gudgeon on the stairs of the restaurant and punched him twice in the face, the court was told.

Prosecutor Alex Kettle-Williams said: “He felt his teeth move and was spitting blood.”

Defending barrister James Elvidge, said of his client: “He does not go out anymore, he does not drink, he is scared about what might happen, he stays in doors.”

The case against Mr Gudgeon was dropped after both women and CCTV confirmed he had not touched them.
