Glastonbury punters’ fury after line-up for £250-a-ticket festival is headlined by The Killers and The Cure
Ticket-holders have blasted organisers over the 'appalling' line-up
THE line-up for Glastonbury Festival 2019 has been slammed by punters who are paying £250 for a ticket to see Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure headlining.
Ticket-holders are calling this year's selection the "worst line-up ever" and have taken to social media to complain.
Back in November rapper Stormzy was announced as the first headliner, taking to the Pyramid Stage on Friday night of the huge festival.
Glastonbury will host over 200,000 people at its 2019 festival, from Wednesday June 26 - Sunday June 30.
Tickets sold out in record time this year - with coach tickets going in 29 minutes and general tickets in 36 minutes, leaving hundreds of thousands disappointed.
But now even those who managed to get hold of a golden ticket are feeling hard done by as the first round of artists on the line-up were revealed.
PUNTERS DISAPPOINTED
Headlining the Pyramid Stage are Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure.
The Sunday afternoon "legend" slot, which has previously featured Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton, has been filled by Kylie Minogue.
Other huge names include Janet Jackson, Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus and The Chemical Brothers.
With tickets setting punters back a total of £248 plus a £5 booking fee, not everyone was chuffed to be spending their hard-earned cash on the "shocking" line-up.

Twitter user
Sian Summers took to Twitter to vent: "That Glastonbury line-up is actually appalling rather listen to Spotify with a crate on Avenham Hill".
And Lewis said: "Glastonbury line-up is absolute garbage."
Another Twitter user agreed, writing: "The Glastonbury line-up is shocking this year".
And one said: "Quite possibly the worst Glastonbury line-up in its history".
Adam Hancox joked on Twitter about it, saying: "Hey, Glastonbury. V Festival 2011 called. It wants its line-up back."
And Kirsty complained: "V disappointed with this years Glastonbury line-up!!!!!"
Michael Keating wasn't impressed either. He tweeted: "That Glastonbury line-up. The poor kids.
"I mean, The Cure (probably one of the better artists) haven't been relevant since before I first saw them. I first saw them in 1991 and they were already past their peak then lol."

So far punters have paid a £50 deposit for their ticket and will soon have to pay the remaining £198 (plus £5 booking fee) if they want to keep it.
Tickets unpaid for will end up in the resale next month and the reaction to the line-up so far indicates there could be a lot of tickets up for grabs.
The infamous festival is back this year after a fallow year in 2018 when organisers give the fields at Worthy Farm a 12-month rest.
In 2017 headliners included Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran.
