Prince Charles suffers bad hair day as he begins Caribbean tour in Saint Lucia
The Prince of Wales was speaking ahead of a bash to mark the island’s 40th anniversary of independence

PRINCE Charles had a bad heir day as he started his tour of the Caribbean yesterday.
The 70-year-old’s mop was hit by strong winds and tropic heat in St Lucia.
It was a frazzled mess by the time he delivered a speech to dignitaries at the Philip Marcellin Grounds.
He said: “Climate change poses nothing short of an existential threat to this island as it does to every part of this region.”
The Prince of Wales was speaking ahead of a reception to mark the island’s 40th anniversary of independence.
He will next fly to Barbados to be reunited with the Duchess of Cornwall, who flew out before the tour began.

The 12-day tour will also see Charles and Camilla visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and the Cayman Islands.
Then on March 24 they will begin four-day tour of Cuba, becoming the first members of the Royal Family to visit the island.
Charles previously met Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on his 70th birthday last November when he visited London.
