Who is British mum Laleh Shahravesh facing jail in Dubai, what did she post on Facebook and why was she arrested?
The mum called her ex-husband an 'idiot' and his new wife a horse

A BRITISH mum Laleh Shahravesh faces jail time in Dubai for calling her ex-husband an "idiot" and his new wife a horse.
But who is she and why was she arrested?
What did Laleh say on Facebook?
Laleh Shahravesh called her ex-husband's new wife a "horse" on Facebook.
She also called her former partner an "idiot" in the post which read: “I hope you go under the ground you idiot. Damn you. You left me for this horse."
A shocked Laleh was detained and her passport confiscated under Dubai’s strict cyber crime laws when she returned to the country.
A complaint was made by her ex's new wife.
Could Lalah be jailed?
Laleh Shahravesh, 55, from Surrey, faces up to two years in jail after she was detained along with her daughter Paris, 14, when they arrived in the UAE in March for her ex-husband’s funeral.
The Brit, who works in a homeless shelter, learned that her former husband’s new wife, 42, had reported her social media posts to the police in 2016.
She has now been banned from leaving the UAE while Paris was allowed to return home to Richmond upon Thames, West London.
The single mum is scheduled to appear in court on April 11 and faces up to two years in jail and a fine of £50,000.
On April 8, 2019, Laleh exclusively told The Sun: "I’ve been made aware of the possibility of the allegation being dropped.
"I feel helpless not being able to comfort my daughter. No young girl should ever have to experience the trauma that Paris has.
"Losing her father and then going through the possibility of not seeing her mother for two years, it’s too much.
"I just look forward to holding her again and hope this ordeal can come to an end."
