He studied recent photos of both Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, to predict the facial features of their offspring.

Mullins sketches the age progression of children with great accuracy and uses his skills to help police solve crimes and trace missing kids.

Meghan's newborn, however, is yet to be pictured.

In a break from royal tradition, the couple chose not to pose for photos outside hospital.

However, Harry has appeared in front of the media and spoken of his "absolutely incredible" delight at welcoming his first child.

Beaming with joy, he said: "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy.

"I haven't been at many births.

"This is definitely my first birth — it was amazing, absolutely incredible."

In keeping with tradition, a ceremonial bulletin was placed outside Buckingham Palace shortly after the birth was announced.
