Spate of attacks by fake news obsessed crackpots means conspiracy theories are a major new terror threat, secret FBI report warns

CONSPIRACY theorists are now ranked by the FBI as a new terrorism threat to the United States, it’s been revealed.
Fringe and identity based groups are spreading fake stories the US security service believes could motivate domestic extremists to commit atrocities.
An FBI document, obtained by , describes “conspiracy theory-driven domestic extremists,” are regarded as a growing threat.
The document specifically mentions QAnon, a shadowy network that believes in a deep state conspiracy against President Donald Trump.
That theory centres around an anonymous source, Q, who is trying to tell the world a secret — or multiple secrets.
'DEEP STATE ACTORS'
One unfounded allegations is that Donald Trump and special counsel Robert Mueller are waging a secret battle against an alleged paedophile ring involving “deep state’ actors and global elites”.
Some Trump supporters embrace the theory and have appeared at rallies wearing tops and hats featuring “Q”.
The FBI document also refers to "Pizzagate".
This is a theory that a paedophile ring including Clinton associates was being run out of the basement of a pizza restaurant in the American capital Washington, DC.
