WEDDINGS and civil partnership ceremonies are BANNED during the new four-week national lockdown, which was announced by the Prime Minister last night.
Boris Johnson told Brits to stay at home until the beginning of December in an attempt to stop surging coronavirus cases.

Along with non-essential shops and leisure venues - places of worship will be shut for marriage ceremonies.
Guidance on the says: "Weddings, civil partnership ceremonies will not be permitted to take place, except in exceptional circumstances."
Although it is unclear what "exceptional circumstances" entail.
Places of worship will also be closed during the four-week lockdown, except if they're being used for funerals, individual prayer, or to broadcast religious ceremonies.
They can also be open if used as part of formal childcare or for essential voluntary and public service, such as blood donations or food banks.
This comes as Britain officially passed one million cases of the virus.
21,915 more people tested positive and 326 people died of the virus.
WEDDINGS CANCELLED
The lockdown is set to last until December 2 in an attempt to save the nation's Christmas.
But it will apply to England only - Scotland and Wales have said they will assess the situation and apply their own rules.
All leisure facilities will be shut during the second lockdown, and Brits will only be allowed to exercise outdoors.
Under the new lockdown restrictions announced at the press conference, people in England will have to brave the cold to stay fit for the next four weeks.
Support bubbles are set to stay in place during the second lockdown - but shielding will not resume.
Despite putting the nation back into lockdown, the Prime Minister stressed that it was for the greater good.
Boris said: "I am optimistic that this will feel very different by the spring.
“Its not that we have better medicines and therapies and a realistic idea of a vaccine by next year, but we can use rapid tests…
