Meghan Markle and Prince Harry invited to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – but questions remain over balcony appearance
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have been invited to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
But questions remain over whether the battling royals will share a public balcony appearance outside Buckingham Palace.

The Queen has extended an olive branch to the Sussexes by inviting them to her mammoth Platinum Jubilee celebrations in summer.
According to the , the Duke and Duchess plan to attend the Queen’s official birthday parade which will take place over four days next June.
But it is unclear whether Harry and Meghan will appear on the balcony with the rest of the Royal Family.
The celebrations will kick off with a full staging of Trooping the Colour, the parade of more than 1,400 soldiers that marks the queen’s official birthday.
The Sussexes intend returning to the UK for the special occasion.
However, it's not clear whether they'll join other Royals on the balcony in a public show of unity during the RAF flypast - in the wake of Megxit and the couple's many complaints about the family.
Palace aides are looking at limiting numbers on the balcony to include just working Royals, and hence rejecting the Sussexes.
A source said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited and I'm sure the Queen is very much looking forward to seeing them there.
"The balcony moment will be decided much nearer the time.
"But there's a limit to how many family members should be on it, and I would have thought that working Royals who contribute to the family would be higher on the list than the Sussexes."
The revelation comes as feuding brothers Harry and William are understood to have ditched plans to deliver speeches at the unveiling of a statue of their late mum, Diana, Princess of Wales.
Talks are continuing over whether separate or joint statements will be issued on July 1 in relation to the Kensington Palace event.

The Queen will visit Scotland this week as William and Harry are set to stand shoulder-to-shoulder for Diana's memorial service.
Her Majesty will visit the country for Royal Week between June 28 and July 1 - to celebrate the Scottish community, innovation and history.
Meanwhile, the princes will not offer an olive branch to each other before unveiling the specially commissioned statue of their beloved mum, claims a pal.
Joint friends of both siblings don't believe they will mend their rift, despite being in the same country at the same time, according to the Sunday Times.
One said: "Neither are offering an olive branch.
"I fear it will be the same as at Prince Philip's funeral, a nod of recognition and that's about it."
Another source admitted to being worried that "on the day it will be difficult to separate the statue from the occasion, which is now loaded with all sorts of unwelcome baggage."
But one mate predicted there will be no sign of lingering tension between the battling bros on the big day, when "all will be lovely".
A spokeswoman for Harry confirmed the duke had arrived "safely" at his private residence Frogmore Cottage close to the Queen's Windsor Castle home.
Kensington Palace has confirmed the royal brothers and Diana's close family - thought to be her siblings - and others involved in organising the statue will attend the ceremony in the Sunken Garden on Thursday.

A royal source said: "This is a small event and a very personal moment for the family.
"Plans have been scaled back due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and media arrangements reflect both the size and tone of the event."
