Prince Harry updates — Duke & Meghan reflect on Canada trip after bombshell interview as William speaks on Gaza conflict
PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle said they were grateful for their time in Canada last week as they marked one year to go before next year’s winter Invictus games.
Speaking to People following Harry’s bombshell TV interview earlier in the week, the couple said: “We loved being back in Canada, a place so meaningful to both of us. It was an honour to be welcomed by the Four Host First Nations, as we marked One Year To Go, together with Invictus coaches, competitors and families.”
The Sussexes said their visit to Canada, where they once considered moving to, “filled their hearts.”
It comes as Prince William spoke out about the Isreal-Gaza conflict, saying “too many have been killed” and called for “an end to the fighting as soon as possible."

Matt Smith is famed for many roles, but perhaps none more than his turn as Prince Phillip on Netflix's The Crown.
And now, Smith has revealed the hilarious nickname Prince Harry gave him after watching the hit show.
Speaking to Matt said: “He was like ‘alright grandad? I was like ‘alright mate?’”
Matt also spoke about the moment his own grandad found out he would be playing the late royal.
“I told my grandad I got the part and he went ‘bloody hell you aren’t playing that berk’.
“My grandad couldn’t bear him. He wasn’t very into the royal family.
“But I just loved him. All of the research I did I thought what an extraordinary, forward-thinking, deeply funny, irascible, brilliant man he was.”

“I get a lot of energy just from being around these guys.”

The Duke of Sussex revealed he will make an effort to his family “as much as he can.”
Harry told Good Morning America he would “stop and see family as much as I can” following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis.

But becoming a US citizen would see him give up any royal titles, experts have warned.
Royal author Phil Dampier said: “This is another indication Harry sees his future in America.
“It’s almost as if they are trying to become quasi-American royalty.”

Meghan Markle to launch new podcast
The Duchess of Sussex is set to launch a new podcast after her £18million deal with Spotify ended.
The new agreement with American podcast network Lemonada Media will see the Duchess of Sussex, 42, front a new show.
On top of a new podcast, Lemonada Media will also redistribute her old offering, Archetypes.
In a statement, Meghan said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.
“Being able to support a female founded company with a roster of thought provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.
“Our plan to re-release Archetypes so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works.”

Prince William went to the Baftas on his own while his wife Kate recovered at home following her recent operation.
It is the first major event that Kate has had to cancel following the surgery, but she is expected to resume royal duties after Easter.
After waving to crowds along the red carpet, William said he hadn’t been able to watch all the nominated films.
