PRINCESS Kate and Prince William have shared an adorable new picture of their daughter Charlotte to mark the princess' 10th birthday.
The new snap, taken by mum Kate, shows a beaming Charlotte looking battle ready in a camouflage outfit and enjoying nature as she celebrates a double-digit age for the first time.
A smiling Charlotte, who is third in line to the throne, was pictured donning the colourful jacket by hunting and shooting brand Jack Pyke.
She also wore a sturdy hiking rucksack in the adorable picture.
In the post on Instagram, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: "Happy 10th Birthday Princess Charlotte!", alongside a heart emoji.
Kate, a keen amateur photographer who regularly takes images of her children to mark official occasions, snapped Charlotte on an iPhone during a visit to Cumbria earlier this year.

It's one of the rare times the public has been treated to a behind the scenes picture of the princess.
Changing with the traditional formal dress we usually see Charlotte in, the princess has shown another side of her life, similar to that seen in the past with her family.
In 1986, her dad Wills and uncle Harry were pictured donning camo gear outside Highgrove House, aged just four and one respectively.
The family have a deep history with the military, with William going on to train at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst while Harry was deployed twice to active duty in Afghanistan.

To celebrate her 9th birthday last year, it was reported the princess would have a "low key" birthday, with William potentially having stepped in to bake a cake while Kate was recovering from her cancer diagnosis.
The couple had also revealed a fresh picture of her last year for her birthday, which showed a beaming Charlotte posing in a garden wearing a floral blouse paired with a denim skirt, navy jumper and red cardigan.
Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, at 8.34am on May 2 2015, weighing 8lb 3oz.
She owes her middle names to Queen Elizabeth II and her late grandmother Diana, Princess of Wales - and is said by royal fans to bear a resemblance to both when they were younger.
The new snap comes as it was revealed how Charlotte's outfits may have been more strategically chosen than first thought.
According to fashion expert Amber Graafland, Princess Charlotte is following in the footsteps of mum Princess Kate, 43, who “carefully considers” her outfits and “conveys messages” with them.
The style pro told Fabulous: “Princess Kate has perfected the art of effective communication through the language of clothes.
“Kate often uses her impeccable style to nod to her hosts on official visits.
“As Kate has become more comfortable with positioning in the public eye, she has also started using her clothes to convey hidden messages.”
Late last month, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a touching message as they celebrated their wedding anniversary on the Isle of Mull, just off the west coast of Scotland.
In a heartwarming post on Instagram, the couple paid their thanks to the locals for their "warm welcome" on their two-day visit.
It read: "Wonderful to be back on the Isle of Mull. Thank you to everyone for such a warm welcome, W & C."
