Conor McGregor trains for Princess Charlene’s water bike challenge as UFC icon holidays with Dee Devlin on yacht

CONOR MCGREGOR is loving life after ditching the octagon for the ocean - and is even training out on the water in the dark.
The "Notorious" retired from MMA for a third time back in June after citing a lack of "excitement".
But the Irishman appears to have rediscovered his spark after taking on another epic challenge.
He announced last month that he would be taking to the sea in September with Princess Charlene of Monaco in order to raise awareness for water safety.
McGregor, 32, wrote on his Instagram account at the time: "A great day racing the water bikes with Princess Charlene of Monaco.
"A phenomenal athlete and Olympian, we are teaming up for a 180km voyage in September to raise awareness in water safety. I cannot wait.
"We will be utilising my training under the McGregor F.A.S.T program to excel on these mounted water bike devices, which are incredibly good!"
And he's certainly not taking his commitment lightly, having taken to the water after dark to train in the south of France last night.

And in an official statement earlier this month, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion said: "Joining Princess Charlene’s team for the Marathon Endurance Race is both an honour and a challenge.
“When I commit, I always train hard, and we plan to win!
“The Princess’ foundation works in over 30 countries promoting fitness and safety in water sports.
“I appreciate the support and encouragement I have received in Monaco.”
