TYSON FURY has promised to spend a whopping £10,000 on drinks for his fans after having to reschedule his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko.

The 27-year-old announced on Friday that the rematch will take place on 29 October - 16 weeks away.

But in an act of generosity to fans who had shelled out for hotels and travel costs, Fury has promised to foot the bill for the party after his fight.

Fury hit the headlines during the Euros when he was pictured spending €1,000 on 200 jagerbombs while partying with England fans in Nice.

He's gone a brilliant step further this time - promising to pay £10,000 for supporters after the 29 October bout.

Fury, who has also rubbished claims he has been investigated for doping, announced the move on Twitter.

He wrote: "Next time I'm out after the fight with [Wladimir Klitschko] I'll let every1 [sic] know where, & I'm spending 10k on drinks for the fans, to show my [love]."

The announcement prompted a brilliant reaction from his fans.

Fury has earlier said: "Today is the day I should be fighting [Wladimir Klitschko], but I'll have to wait a little longer, massive SORRY to all who bought tickets."
