ANDY MURRAY has been hailed for putting the 'Great' back in Great Britain.
The Scot, 29, stormed to a heroic straight-sets victory over Canadian ace Milos Raonic to win his second Wimbledon title.
It is the second time Murray has triumphed at SW19 following his win over Novak Djokovic in 2013.
Speaking after the match, BBC pundit Tim Henman, 41, said: "I really do hope he savours this victory because it's so special.
"It's incredible how hard he works and what he puts into his game. These are the fruits of his labour.
"Murray is so experienced in these environments.
"Andy wanted to get the crowd engaged and he kept the intensity and played a faultless match.
"It was telling how he said he really wants to enjoy this.
"I remember in 2013 he was in a state of shock and I think in the weeks and months after it didn’t sink in and he didn’t really enjoy it. There was so much pressure on him.

"He's been through so much since then and he's had the heartache of losing in Grand Slam titles but I think he's going to enjoy this."
Former World No1 Leyton Hewitt, 35, added: "As a kid you always dream of getting here. It’s a fantastic atmosphere.
"You got goosebumps with how loud the crowd was roaring for Andy."
