Proud TV presenter Steve Backshall congratulates rower fiancée Helen Glover with a kiss on the lips after she won Olympic gold at the Rio Games.
Athlete Glover, 30, was victorious in the Women's Pair at the Lagoa Stadium – the same event she triumphed in at London 2012.
And her delighted partner, 43, couldn’t contain his joy when the pair embraced after the race.
BAFTA winning wildlife broadcaster Backshall, 43, was visibility moved as he kissed his bride-to-be.
Glover is the number one ranked female rower in the world and is now a two-time Olympic champion.
While speaking with BBC Sport, Backshall broke down in tears as he spoke about his fiancée’s dedication and her team's will-to-win.

He said: "I am just so proud, the amount of work they put in, the amount of effort.
“All those hours getting up on winter mornings when it is still dark and going out and thrashing it at every single stroke was all about today - coming here and defending their title.
"It has just been so unbelievable and a totally overwhelming feeling.
“They have really deserved it. They have been head and shoulders above everyone for this whole Olympiad.
"They are just a remarkable team. They have done us all very very proud."
The love-up pair live together in Buckinghamshire and announced their engagement in September 2015 after meeting at a Sport Relief event in 2014.
