WWE star Sasha Banks ruled out of action for up to two months through injury and will MISS the Royal Rumble

SASHA BANKS will MISS the Royal Rumble after WWE confirmed the extent of her injury.
The popular grappler, 29, hurt herself at a live event in North Carolina back on January 2.
The Boss was injured during her match with Charlotte Flair at the show.
She is said to have landed awkwardly after taking a backbreaker from The Queen.
That led to an audible being called to go to the finish quicker than was originally planned due to her being hurt.
A number of fans in attendance then reported on social media that Banks had to be carried backstage by referees.
She was absent from the latest episode of SmackDown on Friday and now fans will have to wait a lot longer to see the star back in action.
And unfortunately for the veteran, she will also miss the Royal Rumble on January 29 - one of the biggest events in the WWE calendar.
A statement from WWE confirmed: “Sasha Banks suffered a foot injury Sunday evening at a WWE Live! event in Fayetteville, NC.
“After seeking emergency medical attention, it was determined nothing was broken. Sasha underwent an MRI and it was discovered she has a bruised calcaneus bone.
“She is at home recovering and undergoing physical therapy. She is expected to be out of action for 6-8 weeks.”
Meanwhile WWE legends Nikki and Brie Bella are coming out of retirement for the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
And The Bellas are not the only big names announced for the Rumble.
Icons such as Michelle McCool, Lita, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James and Summer Rae have all been confirmed.
