Team GB’s sexiest Winter Olympics stars, from an ex-Marine bobsleigh hopeful to a snowboarding Yorkshire beauty

THE Winter Olympics begins on Friday with Team GB hopeful of a haul of medals.
But, if they were ranked on good looks rather than sporting prowess they could win gold all day long.
From a hunky ex-Royal Marine Commando, who is a member of the bobsleigh team, to a blonde stunner from Yorkshire aiming to be a success in snowboarding - we are certainly well represented.
Here's Team GB's sexiest athletes competing at Beijing 2022.
The West Yorkshire native, 24, began snowboarding at Halifax Ski & Snowboard Centre when she was just five, but was skiing two years before that.
Forever pushing the boundaries in the sport, Ormerod became the first female to land a double backflip on a snowboard aged just 15.
A year later, the Brighouse native pull off a double cork 1080, a complex manoeuvre never landed by a woman before.
She was due to compete in the 2018 Games in Pyeongchang, however she was forced to pull out due to a career-threatening heel injury.
Seven operations and a gruelling two years of rehab later, she returned to winning ways at the slopestyle World Cup and won a Crystal Globe.
Ormerod has been considered Team GB's best hope of a gold medal, and has garnered a following of over 70,000 fans on Instagram.
Standing at 6ft 4in, 25-year-old Taylor is an imposing sight.
However, he only joined GB Bobsleigh in 2019. Before that, he played Academy level football and rugby union.
Lawrence also served as Royal Marine Commando, having enrolled when he was 20.
He revealed it has put him in good stead for a career in sport.
He told the : "The things that help you be a good soldier, organisational skills, the way you carry yourself, the way you interact with people, all those things, it definitely helps in the bobsleigh world and in the wider sporting world."
Taylor dates fellow skeleton athlete Emily Barrett, and the pair are often seen sharing cute snaps together on Instagram.
All eyes will be on Mica, 28, from County Durham who will be leading the women's bobsleigh team.
She competed at Pyeongchang in 2018, although it was touch and go whether she would make it after the BBSA stripped her of her funding.
Fast-thinking McNeill set up a crowd-funding appeal to try and make her way to South Korea and managed to raise £41,000.
Although she finished 8th, it was the best ever result for a British women's bobsleigh team.
She comes into this Olympics in hot form - recently winning silver at the World Cup.
Emerging from the shadows of her older sister Izzy, skier Zoe will be competing in the halfpipe.
Last year the 19-year-old skier showed her Olympic credentials by winning bronze in the World Cup.
But it's on Instagram she is making a splash, quite literally.
Zoe's bikini snaps, taking a dip into the sea, have steamed up her reputation among her 3,000 followers.
If she's successful in Beijing, another holiday beckons.
Figure Skating is always a glam event at the Winter Olympics.
Gorgeous Natasha, 27, has always wanted to represent Team GB at the Olympics since she picked up a pair of skates aged just seven.
"I begged my mum for skates for a whole year until she gave in," she revealed.
However, her preparations were interrupted by Scotland's stricter lockdown rules and she was forced to relocate to Bradford, West Yorkshire, to train.
Still, that won't get in the way of her hopes.
She said: "[It] means everything to me to get to the Olympics – I've been dreaming of this since I was a little girl watching it on television."
Perhaps the biggest star outside his chosen Olympic sport, Gus represented Team USA in 2014 in Sochi in Freestyle Skiing.
But he has since joined Team GB and has gained massive support from the LGBT community.
A bona fide actor, Kenworthy, 30, appeared in the ninth season of TV show American Horror Story.
On Instagram, Kenworthy has amassed almost two million followers.
He also appeared in controversial Netflix series Coming Out Colton, alongside pal Colton Underwood.
Teaming up with Mica McNeill in the bobsleigh is Adele, 24, who will be acting as reserve.
She previously appeared in the Commonwealth Games in the shotput, and it was only by chance she ended up travelling to Beijing.
"I was training in a park in Cardiff during lockdown last summer and my friend put a video of me running on Instagram," the Welsh stunner told .
"It was just a bit of fun and then a complete coincidence that Mica McNeill saw it.
"She messaged me and asked if I had ever considered giving bobsleigh a go because of my power."
When she's finished in Beijing, Adele hopes to complete her doctorate when she completes her Masters.
