READING star Andy Yiadom took time out to speak with furious fans after his side failed to win for the 12th game in a row.
The Royals drew 0-0 with fellow relegation strugglers Peterborough on Wednesday night.
That left Veljko Paunovic's side fourth bottom in the Championship with a paltry 23 points from 31 games.
It came hot on the heels of a 3-2 defeat to Coventry at the weekend that saw Reading fans storm onto the pitch.
That was Reading's seventh Championship defeat in a row - thankfully broken by the 0-0 midweek draw with Posh.
But fans are still fuming, and gathered outside London Road to voice their anger.
Yiadom, who counts Barnsley, Barnet and Braintree among his former clubs, came over to try and calm the fans down.
He started by saying that he 'is trying hard' which seemed to be accepted by some supporters.

But one male fan wasn't having any of it, as he responded back: "It's doesn't f***ing look like it."
Another asks: "Well, what's going wrong then," while someone else points out that they are "nine games winless".
Manager Paunovic then became the brunt of the anger, clearly fans laying the blame at his door.
A section of supporters raced onto the pitch as the club's 150th anniversary game turned into a nightmare at the weekend.
They made their way to Paunovic's technical area with security quickly stepping in to separate them.
Hundreds of Reading fans had protested outside the stadium before kick-off as they aimed their anger at Paunovic and their Chinese owners.
The fans chanted 'We want Pauno out' and 'We want our Reading back'.
And some displayed a banner that read: "150 years history but how many more?"
